The sign of the former Saxony Motor Inn on Stony Plain Road near 156th Street was installed in 1966 by Blanchett Neon.

The Saxony was a live venue, opening in 1966. It was the largest bar in Edmonton, with 1,000 people on the main floor. It featured all kinds of music.
